What does this book about the cosmos have to do with art? And why is there a book review on the topic of what it means to be human on the planet earth? Good questions! Usually, my main focus of activity and instruction is on art and how to draw or paint. Underlying all this, though, is a wider perspective of what it means to be alive in this human form. The artwork, or the making of it, is actually more of a method to investigate this topic than it is an end in itself. Just as in my online art sessions, Swimme gives practical exercises on how we can change our perspective of our existence.
