All the paintings for this Looking Up series are scenes from life just as I saw them. What I found fascinating in looking up, literally, is that there is a whole new visual panorama that would otherwise go unnoticed.

Seeing these pink flowers juxtaposed against the backdrop of blue sky and buildings was particularly delightful on a warm, sunny day.
