I had a lot of fun with this painting Frida’s Front. A few months ago Andrea Watson asked me to participate in another collaborative show in Taos, New Mexico. The theme for this one is Frida Kahlo. Rather than sticking with more clichéd images this show has the slight twist of any tiny detail related to her life. For this painting, I chose a small detail of the Frida Kahlo Museum in Coyoacán, Mexico. Lots of color! The show opens this Friday at the J Fine Art Gallery in Taos. Here are the details:
